Formulas in fields

You can now use formulas in fields to perform calculations, introduce business logic, or transform data

💡 Formulas are in BETA

Our current expression builder for formulas is extremely minimal. We will be working to add functionality so you can better understand how to write your own expression.

In the meantime, we can’t imagine that you’ll be able to figure it out on your own. Please email us and we’d be more than happy to write an expression for you to paste into the formula box.

Creating a Formula Field

A formula field in a spreadsheet allows you to perform calculations, introduce business logic, or transform data based on other fields in the same row. Here's how to use a formula field:

  1. Create a new column in your spreadsheet by clicking the "+" button on the right side of your table.
  2. Choose "Formula"
  3. Click Create Field
  4. Open the field settings panel
  5. Type your formula into the formula box
